Freeman Edwin Sexton

Freeman Edwin Sexton, 86, of Willard went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Freeman was born in Willard, KY, a son of the late Dennis and Opal Hardy Sexton. Freeman collaborated with his brothers, Floyd and Jude Sexton, to start Sexton Brothers Dog Food in Willard. He also was in the pallet mill business and was an avid foxhunter. Freeman was preceded by sisters, Helen Jean Gallion, Delores Jackson and Donna V. Sexton; brothers, Jude Sexton, Floyd Sexton and Okie Sexton. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sally Dickerson Sexton; sons, Edwin (Joe Barnett) Sexton of Russell and Dean Greene of Willard; daughter, Freedom Michelle Sexton of Willard; brother, James Mitchell Sexton of Willard; grandchildren, Connor Greene, Justin Greene, Noah Caudill, Halle Swanagan and Opal Marie Sexton; and a very special friend, Charles Collier.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, 2:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. David Boggs and Bro. Terry Sexton, ministers. Burial will be in the Sexton Family Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 12 noon on Sunday.
